A Keepsake of Verse! |
“Old Blazes” is a collection
of poetry by Paul Croy of Hope, Idaho, published in April
1937, in softbound leather binding. The pages of the book
are filled with photographs by Ross Hall, who has signed
the book. In 1971, Lee and Irene Cotrell, antique collectors,
gave this book to Tom and Arlina Holman; thirty-four years
later they are graciously donating it to the highest bidder
at our auction. Tom Holman is Priest Lake’s own professional
photographer of the 21st century, and he has also signed
this book.

24. “Selkirk
Spring” Masterful Quilting |
Enjoy the beauty of spring
all year long! This beautiful handmade quilt is a unique
blend of
contemporary design and traditional quilt patterns. The colors
and design evoke the freshness and spirit of new spring growth.
The Log Cabin block pattern takes a new twist with the floral
pieced and appliquéd blocks. Japanese spring kimonos
are the inspiration for the colors in this quilt, which gives
it a contemporary edge.
Talented quilters Louise Mehlert, Diane
Munk, Heidi Reinhardt and Leslie Rentfro of the Coolin Cutups
Quilt Group devoted many hours to the production of this
75" x 75" masterpiece.
