Guidelines
1. All bidding requires a bid number. Patrons can register at the entrance
tables. Use of this number constitutes a legal contract to purchase.
Successful bidders will be entered into the computer by the auctioneer
staff.
2. For Silent Auction bidding, please follow minimum raise amounts for
a valid bid.
3. Items can be retrieved by showing a receipt of payment.
4. Certificates and multiple items will be available at the cashier in
the Big Tent. All items are required to be removed from the premises
unless special arrangements have been made.
5. All sales are final. Purchases must be paid in full the day of the
auction by cash, check, VISA or MASTERCARD. Priest Lake People Helping
People donations are tax deductible pending approval of the organization‘s
501(C)3 status approval.
6. Please note expiration dates and special time restraints on gift certificates.
These may not be redeemed for cash and are for the sole use of the successful
bidder. They are not for resale. Most products or services must be claimed
or utilized within one year of the auction day, unless otherwise stated.
7. Description of items have been made with every reasonable effort to
describe each item correctly, but all items are sold “where is” and “as
is” by Priest Lake People Helping People- Charity Auction.
Item photos and pictures in the Auction catalog are not necessarily exactly
representative of the actual item. Value of items is set by the donor.
8. Absentee sealed bids will be accepted for any live auction item.
9. Highest bidder as acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer.
In the event of any dispute, the auctioneer’s decision is final.
10. Auction coordinator reserves the right to add or withdraw, without
notice, items to or from the auction.
11. It is the responsibility of the bidder to contact the donor within
one month following the auction to arrange specific dates to redeem an
item where applicable.
12. By purchasing an item, the buyer waives any liability against the
Priest Lake Chamber of Commerce, volunteers or donors. Neither the Chamber
nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damage which
may result from the utilization of property or services sold.
