People Helping People 19th Charity Auction

Join in the fun of this annual event at Priest Lake.

The Priest Lake Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the "People Helping People Charity Auction" Opening of the summer season at Priest Lake, this annual event is held at beautiful Elkin's Resort on Saturday, May 26, 2012. What a great way to greet the summer, visit with friends and contribute to a wonderful cause. This year's theme is "Priest Lake- Feel the Magic". If you've spent much time here you'll surely agree Priest Lake is truly mystical and a wonderful place to feel life's magic. The afternoon starts with a wine social & fantastic silent auction. Non-profit organizations along with individual donors contribute to the silent auction offerings. The non-profit groups receive 90% of the bid price per item for their contributions. After the afternoon warm up festivities enjoy an elegant dinner prepared by Elkin's fine chef. The main event is presented by auctioneer Troy Black and family. Troy and his son's with present you with an assortment of unique experiences and treasures enticing you to raise your paddles high. All proceeds raised during the evening go back into our community via grants. The grant fund was established 19 years ago and has contributed over $680,000 to non-profit organizations at Priest Lake. Grants are awarded via an application process and are reviewed/awarded on a quarterly basis by the People Helping People Board of Directors.
